Data Scientist – Snowflake & Database Administration (ID: 4136)

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will Design, develop, and manage scalable data analytics and data warehousing platforms. Administer, configure, monitor, and optimize Snowflake environments and associated databases. Develop and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems to modern data platforms. Design, implement, and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure efficient data processing. Manage and optimize Oracle databases, ensuring performance, availability, and reliability. Perform PostgreSQL database administration, monitoring, and performance tuning. Implement data quality, data integrity, and data security standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions. What You Bring to the Table 6–8 years of overall IT experience. Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake architecture, administration, and optimization. Mandatory experience in Oracle Database Administration (Oracle DBA). Good knowledge of PostgreSQL administration and database management. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling. Expertise in ETL/ELT processes, data migration, and data quality management. Good knowledge of SQL and Python. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud networking. You should possess the ability to Design and maintain scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions. Perform Oracle database administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Manage PostgreSQL databases and resolve database-related issues. Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for efficient data integration. Plan and execute complex data migration activities from legacy systems. Monitor data pipelines and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. Work effectively with technical and business stakeholders. Identify performance bottlenecks and implement appropriate solutions.
