NetApp Storage Consultant (ID:3797)

As a NetApp Storage Consultant, you will: Design, implement, administer, and support enterprise-scale NetApp storage environments in mission-critical infrastructures. Develop low-level and high-level storage architecture designs and validate new technologies through Proof of Concepts (PoCs). Lead storage platform deployment, migration, upgrade, and decommissioning activities across multiple NetApp product lines. Manage storage infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence. Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, backup, virtualization, and vendor teams to deliver robust storage solutions. Troubleshoot complex storage issues and provide timely resolution to minimize business impact and downtime. What You Bring to the Table: 6–8 years of experience in enterprise storage administration and engineering. Strong hands-on expertise with NetApp storage platforms including FAS, AFF, StorageGRID, E-Series, SolidFire, Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO), and Cloud Backup Service (CBS). Deep knowledge of NetApp ONTAP administration, configuration, and performance optimization. Experience designing storage architectures and creating low-level and high-level design documentation. Expertise in storage migrations, hardware refresh projects, and firmware upgrade activities. Experience with NetApp Data Infrastructure Insights and storage monitoring solutions. Knowledge of FC SAN environments and Cisco MDS switches. Experience integrating storage solutions with Rubrik backup platforms and Microsoft Azure cloud environments. Strong understanding of enterprise NAS platforms operating in mission-critical environments. Experience with VMware infrastructure and virtualization technologies. Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible and Rundeck. Knowledge of ITSM processes and vendor management practices. You Should Possess the Ability to: Configure and manage NetApp storage environments across diverse enterprise platforms. Design and validate storage solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Execute complex storage migrations with minimal operational disruption. Perform storage firmware upgrades, hardware installations, and lifecycle management activities. Troubleshoot storage, SAN, and infrastructure issues in high-pressure production environments. Implement and maintain storage networking, logical storage configurations, and data protection solutions. Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability. Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and deliver project objectives. Ensure platform stability, security, performance, and availability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
