As a TPF Developer, You Will: Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using TPFC, TPFDF, Assembler, and Structured Programming Language (SPM). Support mission-critical airline and airport operational systems running on IBM System z TPF platforms. Handle high-priority production incidents involving real-time interactions between TPF systems and airport operations. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and system issues within the TPF environment. Work with TPF Toolkit for development, debugging, testing, and deployment activities. Create, execute, and maintain XML queries to support application functionality and data processing requirements. Collaborate with business and operational teams to support flight operations, scheduling, availability management, and airport operations processes. Support communication workflows between airports and airlines as well as airline-to-airline interactions. Analyze and process aviation industry messaging standards, including Type A and Type B messages. Participate in application enhancements, maintenance activities, and system modernization initiatives. Ensure application reliability, performance, and operational continuity within a fast-paced airline environment. Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous process improvements. What You Bring to the Table: 6–8 years of experience in TPF application development and support. Strong hands-on expertise in TPFC, TPFDF, TPF Concepts, Structured Programming Language (SPM), and Assembler. Experience working with TPF Toolkit for development and troubleshooting activities. Strong understanding of IBM System z TPF environments and real-time transaction processing systems. Experience creating and executing XML queries. Knowledge of flight operations, airline schedules, availability management, and airport operations. Understanding of airport ground handling processes and airline operational workflows. Knowledge of airline-to-airline and airport-to-airline communication processes. Experience working with aviation messaging standards, including Type A and Type B messages. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities. Dutch language proficiency with the ability to communicate effectively in multilingual environments. You Should Possess the Ability To: Develop and support high-performance, real-time TPF applications. Troubleshoot and resolve critical production incidents within strict service timelines. Understand complex airline and airport operational processes and translate them into technical solutions. Work effectively in mission-critical environments where system availability is essential. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. Analyze operational issues and implement sustainable solutions. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining operational stability and performance.
