Yard Laborer

A Yard Laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at warehouse and storage yard. Their duties include, but are not limited to loading and unloading trucks, cleaning and preparing units for future rentals, truck cleaning and re-stocking, and general labor as specified by management.

The duties and responsibilities of a yard laborer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse and storage yard while also supporting the overall work requirements of the business. The list of duties and responsibilities for a yard laborer on any given day may include the following: 

• →Cleaning and preparing returned rental units.
• →Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• →General truck cleaning and re-stocking.
• →Inventory management as directed by immediate supervisor.
• →Operating and tending trucks, trailers, and forklift.
• →Following instructions from supervisors and implementing work plans.
• →Assisting Service Technicians and P&D Drivers in their duties.

• Skilled use of hand and powered tools: drills, saws, nail guns, forklift etc. Stallion provides all tools
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Attentive to detail
• Capable of working with minimal oversight, but willing to follow directions closely
• Able to align with and support Stallion’s Mission and Values

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Previous experience in warehousing and/or labor preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
