The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the economic, ethical, and legal principles of a free society. For 80 years, FEE has been committed to inspiring and educating individuals on the values of personal freedom, entrepreneurship, and sound economic thinking. Through various programs, publications, and events, FEE empowers individuals to understand the economic principles that drive prosperity and fosters a society rooted in individual rights and limited government.
The Student Engagement department leads FEE’s student-facing events. Through a mix of in-person and virtual programs, FEE partners with schools, educators, and organizations to introduce students to the principles of a free society, fostering deeper understanding and thoughtful discussions. From outreach and relationship-building to event logistics and execution, the Student Engagement team works to create engaging, high-impact experiences that challenge and inspire the next generation. Domestically, FEE’s programs have reached students in nearly all 50 states. Internationally, FEE has a growing footprint in Latin America.
FEE in the Classroom International brings FEE's educational programs to students and educators in Latin America. Working with schools, educational institutions, and local partners, the program delivers workshops and seminars in Spanish that introduce young people to the ideas of a free society.
About the Role
~3 min readThe Program Outreach Intern will support FEE in the Classroom International's efforts to expand its network of partner institutions across Latin America. Working closely with the outreach team, the intern will help identify high schools, universities, and student organizations that are a strong fit for FEE's programs, and support the strategies that turn those contacts into lasting partnerships. This is an opportunity for the ideal candidate to combine a love for the ideas of a free society with hands-on experience in market research, outreach, and relationship-building in an international nonprofit setting.
