We are a multidisciplinary team of civil, geotechnical, structural, and water resources engineers delivering complex heavy civil projects across energy (including renewables), utilities, water treatment and distribution, flood risk reduction, river restoration, and site development.

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Minneapolis office—someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving technically challenging problems, and is motivated to lead and mentor a growing team.

As a senior member of our team, you will:
  • Lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts from concept through design and construction documentation
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff
  •  
    Oversee civil design including:
  • Site layout and grading
  • Surface modeling and drainage design
  • Utility systems layout and coordination
  • Earthwork calculations
  • Roadway, parking, and pedestrian access design
  • Channel and embankment grading
  • Prepare and review plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
  • Coordinate directly with clients to develop project scope and deliverables
  • Provide technical leadership on complex or high-impact projects
  • Support project planning, scoping, and proposal development
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to evaluate constructability
  • Participate in project meetings and occasional travel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in civil/infrastructure design
  • Strong experience with site development and/or water resources design
  • Experience with sewer and water supply design
  • Ability to lead teams and work across multi-discipline, multi-office environments
  • Strong communication skills, including working with mixed discipline teams
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation / OpenRoads
  • Land or site development projects
  • Experience working with energy or utility infrastructure
