Stanley Consultants is currently looking for a Traffic Studies/Planning Engineer for our DeBary, FL office.

Project quality assurance and project team support; support of technical organization; and support of business development.
Participate in traffic studies related to strategic and growth initiatives. Assist with major project pursuits, new business development, and local client relationships
Support CSMs, with client outreach where appropriate.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients.
Lead Traffic Studies.
Draft and review scopes and fees for new projects.
Serve as traffic studies lead on key department projects.
Recommend operating policies, standards, and procedures.
Support the Traffic Department Manager(s) and the Traffic and ITS Group Manager for various operational needs.
Perform other functions delegated by the Traffic and ITS Engineering Group Manager and/or Transportation Market Leader.

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field
At least 5 years of relevant work experience
Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license or be able to obtain in a few months
Traffic Engineering experience, and/or planning, analysis and studies experience
Great written and oral communication skills
Safety Planning experience

Knowledge of engineering practices and procedures, including:

FHWA Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)

Florida Design Manual (FDM)

FDOT Traffic Engineering Manual (TEM)
