Mobile Engine Test Stand Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Engine Test Stand 1st shift Mechanic to support Dyno Operations with test properties.  This role involves hands-on work with a variety of Propulsion Systems including internal combustion engines, full powertrains, and electric drive motors.

• →Install internal combustion engines, full powertrains, and electric drive motors onto dyno test carts.
• →Remove and reassemble external engine components as needed.
• →Assist with catalyst aging procedures and dyno cell exhaust system development.
• →Perform basic welding and fabrication.
• →Support setup and maintenance of engine instrumentation and exhaust components.

Basic Qualifications:

• →High School Diploma
• →Minimum of 1 year experience with welding and metal fabrication
• →Experience with welding MIG / TIG, and metal fabrication - Minimum 1 year of experience
• →Ability to read basic prints - Minimum 1 year of experience
• →Familiarity with engine and exhaust system instrumentation - Minimum 1 year of experience
• →Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• →Experience with welding MIG / TIG, and metal fabrication - 3 years of experience.
• →Ability to read basic prints - 3 years of experience
• →Familiarity with engine and exhaust system instrumentation - 3 years of experience
• →State or SAE certifications a plus.
