This individual will support the work of U.S.-based Strategic Engagement Managers (SEMs), as part of a high performing team that serves multiple clients in multiple therapy areas. No project will be the same, and there will be an opportunity to work with a variety of people in the U.S. organization and support many projects at the same time. Preparing draft communications, reports, presentations and working documents for the SEMs, the Associate SEM will play a critical role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our project teams, so we can better serve our clients.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Set-up project files/folders
- →Prepare draft materials for project kickoff meetings
- →Prepare draft working documents for project execution, including information about client brands, teams, strategy, targets, messaging and more
- →Build draft internal team briefings comprised of client background, project overview, disease state information and guidance for internal stakeholders
- →Compose draft client communications, providing weekly project updates
- →Complete other tasks as assigned by the Vice President or the SEMs for whom the individual is providing support

- STEM offers the opportunity to move into more senior roles for the right talent as part of their long-term career development
- Bachelor's Degree is required, ideally in a relevant area (for example, Business, Life Sciences).
- 1+ year of experience in supporting business leaders or project managers, doing work similar to the duties and responsibilities described above
- High attention to detail and organized
- Ability to prioritize
- Commitment to on-time delivery of assigned tasks
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to balance the support needs of several SEMs and several projects at once, confidently speaking up when there are conflicting assignments or timelines
- Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel & Outlook
- Strong service mindset, comfortable being in a support role
- Excellent English language proficiency
- Highly collaborative team player
- Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders
- Ability to adapt style to effectively support multiple SEMs and work on multiple projects
- Agility to adapt to change and new situations
- High degree of professional credibility and personal integrity
