As Team Leader, you will lead a multidisciplinary clinical team, holding responsibility for clinical quality, service delivery, and team performance. You will play a key role in supporting complex decision-making, strengthening internal capability, and driving continuous improvement in practice.
What you’ll do
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance across the service
- Support complex assessments and high-risk case decision-making
- Ensure safe, ethical, and evidence-informed practice
- Oversee the use and interpretation of psychometric tools
- Maintain accountability for clinical quality and client outcomes
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing clinical team
- Provide clinical supervision and performance development
- Build internal capability and foster a positive team culture
- Manage referrals, caseloads, and resource allocation
- Ensure services meet contractual, quality, and reporting requirements
- Support efficient and effective service delivery

What you bring
You are an experienced clinician and leader who brings both clinical expertise and strong people leadership capability.
You will have:
- A postgraduate qualification in psychology, counselling, social work, education or a related field
- Current professional registration
- Advanced clinical experience, including assessment and intervention
- Strong knowledge or working experience with trauma informed practice
- Strong knowledge of psychometric tools and their interpretation
- Experience providing clinical supervision
- A deep understanding of the Aotearoa New Zealand context and culturally responsive practice
