Stream powers real-time Chat, Video, Activity Feeds, and AI Moderation for more than 1 billion end users across 4,000+ apps, from Strava and Bumble to eBay and Patreon. Our platform processes billions of API requests per month and supports applications with millions of concurrent users, while delivering highly reliable, low-latency services and a great developer experience.

We're looking for a Marketing Operations Analyst to join Stream on our mission of elevating the quality of apps for billions of users globally. You'll own the lead-management, outreach and marketing technology setup that Marketing, SDRs and Sales rely on every

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Boulder office, with 3 days a week in the office.

You'll own Stream's marketing technology and lead-management setup end to end. In practice that means every inbound lead routes to the right person, SDRs follow up within SLA, marketing automation and outreach tooling run reliably, and funnel data is accurate enough that people trust the dashboards instead of arguing about them. You'll work with Marketing, Sales Development, Sales, Customer Success and Data Engineering, plus our automation, outreach, enrichment and deliverability vendors. You report to the VP of Revenue Operations. The bar is simple: when something breaks, you know before Marketing or the SDR team tells you.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • →

Own lead routing: design and run the lead lifecycle end to end, with SLA tracking, so no inbound lead is lost, misrouted or left untouched.

  • →

Run marketing automation and outreach: campaign operations, list management, data plumbing and email deliverability, plus helping SDRs get the most out of outbound tools like Nooks.

  • →

Build monitoring: set up checks on routing, follow-up, outreach and marketing data flows, so failures and slowdowns show up here first.

  • →

Keep the data trusted: maintain accurate marketing and funnel data, and core dashboards that work for both daily operations and analysis.

  • →

Govern Salesforce: manage marketing objects, fields, permissions and integrations with good security hygiene.

  • →

Automate the friction: simplify and automate lead-management and marketing operations workflows instead of absorbing recurring manual work.

  • →

Bring solutions: flag risks, gaps and recommendations to Marketing and Revenue Operations early, with a proposed fix attached.

You're the person who notices the routing rule that broke on Tuesday before anyone else does. You like owning a system end to end, you work independently, and you'd rather automate a recurring problem than fix it by hand every week. You're comfortable pushing back on Marketing, SDRs and Sales when a shortcut will cost data quality later. Stream is a scale-up, so things move quickly and not every process is documented yet. If you want a fully defined stack and a ticket queue, this probably isn't the role.

  • 3+ years in marketing operations, revenue operations or platform management at a B2B SaaS company

  • Hands-on Salesforce experience, including campaigns, leads, routing and basic admin

  • Experience owning a marketing automation platform: workflows, campaigns, segmentation and lead scoring or grading

  • Experience designing lead routing and the lead lifecycle, including SLA tracking

  • Experience using AI tools to analyze data and turn it into clear actions

  • Strong attention to detail, and a record of catching data and routing problems before stakeholders do

  • Clear communication, and the confidence to set and enforce best practices across Marketing, SDR and Sales

Nice to Have

~1 min read
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and migrating between marketing automation platforms

  • Outreach and sales engagement tooling, including deliverability and domain reputation

  • BigQuery and Looker, or comparable warehouse and BI tools

  • Building automated health checks for marketing data flows instead of manual spot checks

  • Full-funnel SaaS operations across Marketing, Sales and Customer Success

  • Marketing attribution

  • Automating repetitive marketing operations work, including with AI tools

  • Startup experience

  • Experience with lead routing tools like Default

  • You own the full lead-management system, from the first form fill to the SDR hand-off.

  • Your work decides whether pipeline numbers are trusted. When routing and data are right, Marketing and Sales act on the dashboards instead of debating them.

  • The stack: Salesforce, Nooks and our marketing automation and outreach tools, with BigQuery and Looker close by through Data Engineering.

  • You sit in Revenue Operations, next to the people who own the data platform and the sales process.

What We Offer

~2 min read

We're a Series B company with offices in Boulder, Amsterdam, Skopje and Toronto, and a team of 140+ people from 37 nationalities. We're backed by Felicis Ventures, GGV Capital, 01 Advisors, Techstars, and Arthur Ventures, with angels including Dick Costolo (ex-CEO of Twitter), Olivier Pomel (CEO of Datadog), Tom Preston-Werner (co-founder of GitHub), and Nicolas Dessaigne (co-founder of Algolia).

We'll be straight with you: a startup is more demanding than a large company. There's no fixed playbook, you'll own things end to end, and you'll sometimes pick up work outside your title. That's also what makes it a fast place to grow. If you want real ownership and high scale more than structure and a set career ladder, you'll feel at home here.
