Construction Laborer

This role involves installing and removing piers, boat lifts, and accessories from shore and water using hand tools and machinery. This role is essential to the construction, maintenance, and repair of marine structures. The work involves performing labor-intensive tasks while prioritizing safety and the ability to work effectively in diverse weather conditions and challenging environments.

• →Perform general construction labor tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
• →Assist with the installation and removal of piers, boat lifts, and related waterfront structures.
• →May load, unload, and distribute construction materials using heavy machinery and manual labor.
• →Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
• →Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• →Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• →Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites.
• →Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Clean MVR
• Previous experience in a marine or construction environment is highly advantageous.
• Ability to swim and comfort working on or near water.
• Familiarity with hand tools, basic carpentry, and machinery.
• Boaters Safety.
• Certification in CPR and first aid is a plus.

• Travel to jobsites is required.

• Work involves walking, talking, hearing, lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying up to 100 pounds occasionally in addition to using material handling equipment.
• May be required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl.  Vision abilities require close vision assessments. Moderately loud noise levels in the work environment.
• Ability to perform labor-intensive tasks repeatedly and stand for long periods.
• Steel toe boots are required.
