Responsibilities

→Opens and closes Golf Shop for daily business, as scheduled.
→Greets all customers as they enter the Golf Shop.
→Checks in all players.
→Assigns tee times and announces groups to tees in accordance with policy and procedure.
→Operates daily point of sale system in accordance with procedures.
→Sells and processes all merchandise transfers.
→Assists with all merchandising and displays.
→Maintains the cleanliness of the Golf Shop including picking up, dusting, and cleaning.
→Directs all issues, problems, complaints, and safety matters, which cannot be resolved to the Head Starter.
→Initiates and completes reports for any incident/accident that occurs during work shift.
→Prepares all closing paperwork including but not limited to bank deposits, end of shift reports, and point of sale reports required to complete all sales transactions for that day’s business.
→In emergencies, places 911 calls.
→Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

MUST know the game of golf
Prior experience using computers and cash register systems.
Prior experience handling money.
Any combination of experience, education, and/or training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
