Shovel Operator

We are seeking a skilled Shovel Operator with experience in the Ready-Mix Concrete industry in the UAE. The Shovel Operator will be responsible for operating wheel loaders/shovels to load aggregates, sand, and raw materials into batching plant hoppers while ensuring safe and efficient material handling operations.

The ideal candidate must have experience operating heavy equipment in quarry, construction, or Ready-Mix production environments and demonstrate strong awareness of safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders/shovels to transport and load aggregates and raw materials.

• Feed batching plants with required materials according to production schedules.

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report defects or maintenance requirements.

• Maintain cleanliness of loading areas and work zones.

• Follow site traffic management and safety procedures at all times.

• Assist with yard operations and material movement as required.

• Coordinate with plant operators and production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Shovel Operator in a Ready-Mix Concrete, construction, or quarry environment.

• Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification preferred.

• Experience operating wheel loaders and material handling equipment.

• Good understanding of equipment safety and preventive maintenance checks.

• Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments.

• Basic English communication skills.

• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
