At Soccer Stars, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build confidence through sports. We're looking for enthusiastic educators and childcare professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact while helping children develop important life skills.

Soccer Stars is the leading youth sports organization serving Long Island and Eastern Queens. We provide engaging soccer classes, camps, and clinics for children ages 12 months to 13 years in schools, parks, community centers, and early childhood programs.

Our classes focus on much more than soccer. Through movement, play, and positive reinforcement, we help children develop confidence, teamwork, listening skills, social development, and a lifelong love of physical activity.

In addition to soccer, we also offer multisport and non-contact martial arts programs, creating exciting opportunities for coaches to expand their experience.

If you've worked as a teacher, substitute teacher, teaching assistant, paraprofessional, preschool teacher, daycare provider, or camp counselor, many of the skills you already use every day will help you succeed as a Soccer Stars Coach.

Most classes take place during preschool enrichment hours and on weekends.

We're currently hiring coaches with availability during the following times:

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Candidates with additional availability may qualify for additional coaching opportunities.

Responsibilities

As a Soccer Stars Coach, you'll use your communication and child development skills to create exciting learning experiences through sports.

Responsibilities include:

→Arrive prepared and on time for every class
→Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer activities
→Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
→Build confidence through positive reinforcement and individualized instruction
→Help children develop teamwork, communication, coordination, and sportsmanship
→Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, and fellow coaches
→Participate in ongoing training while following the Soccer Stars Coaching Curriculum

Our goal is simple: ensure every child leaves class smiling, confident, and excited to come back next week.
