The Data Center Logistics Specialist II is responsible for supporting daily logistics, inventory, and operational activities within a data center environment while ensuring accuracy, security, compliance, and service level expectations are consistently met. This role manages inventory control, asset tracking, data management, and the movement of hardware and equipment throughout the asset lifecycle, including receiving, shipping, staging, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of servers, networking equipment, cables, and related components.

Working independently and in a lead capacity when needed, the specialist adjusts workflows and priorities to meet changing operational demands, communicates and coordinates workload changes within their scope of responsibility, and supports seamless workflow handoffs to ensure tasks are completed within established SLA and quality standards. The role is responsible for ensuring proper inventory tracking, labeling, chain of custody, and inventory accuracy while utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and Electric Pallet Jacks (EPJ) to maintain operational readiness and asset integrity.

The Data Center Logistics Specialist II investigates and resolves inventory and operational discrepancies, communicates risks to service performance, implements corrective actions within their authority, and follows established escalation procedures for complex issues. The position supports audit readiness, root cause analysis, process improvement initiatives, and the implementation of new workflows, tools, and operational layouts. Additionally, the specialist promotes adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), security requirements, safety protocols, and handling guidelines while identifying and escalating safety risks, participating in safety initiatives, and demonstrating reliability, accountability, and consistent performance.

Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, advanced computer and mathematical skills, and experience in inventory management, picking and packing, RMA processing, equipment handling, and data center operations. Previous experience in a data center, logistics, warehousing, or team leadership environment is preferred.

Position: Data Center Logistics Specialist II

Shift:  1st Shift

Shift Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm (Subject to change)

Shift Days: Monday – Friday

Pay: $27.80 per hour


Responsibilities
