This is a Bench General Manager III opportunity supporting the Life Sciences sector in the greater Memphis, TN area. The individual selected for this role will support multiple operations over an anticipated 12-18 month bench period, typically spending approximately 3-4 months at each site. This role provides the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple sites and operations while preparing the individual to eventually assume full leadership responsibility for a dedicated site.
Senior-level Operations Manager experience within a regulated warehouse or distribution environment is required. Regulatory experience may come from a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, food and beverage, chemical, or other highly regulated environments. Experience with ISO 13485 is strongly preferred.
Candidates should also have experience supporting site-level financial performance, including exposure to P&L management, labor management, productivity, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end financial processes. Lean and/or Continuous Improvement experience in the candidate’s most recent role is required. Additionally, experience with contract management and commercial obligations is preferred.
Nice to Have

- Strong financial acumen with site-level P&L responsibility is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment is required.
- Experience with ISO 1345 is preferred.

- Experience with Teir 1 Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP, Manhattan and/or Blue Yonder...etc. is required.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
- →Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
- →Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while also developing a strong team culture.
- →Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee operational and personnel activities in the facility to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
- →Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation and other technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
- →Manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective services and supplies while managing the site in accordance with the commercial agreement.
- →Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- →Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure strong connections and customer satisfaction.
- →Responsible for the site's profit and loss (P&L), which is directly influenced by customer relationships.
- →Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customer, leveraging strong team collaboration.
- 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience, required
- 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment, required
- Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics, preferred
- Staff management, required
- P&L management, preferred
- Project management, preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience, preferred
