Central Processing Technician

• →Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays
• →Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners
• →Maintain documentation in accordance with AAMI and AORN standards
• →Ensure accurate and timely instrument turnover for scheduled surgeries
• →Maintain appropriate inventory and notify leadership of any supply or equipment concerns
• →Communicate effectively with OR staff to meet surgical demands
• →Rotating shifts between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM

• Certification (CRCST or equivalent) required
• Previous sterile processing experience, ideally in an orthopedic or ambulatory surgery setting
• Strong working knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention standards
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Team-focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
