University Veterinary Hospital is the only general and specialty practice in the entire Ark-La-Tex region, and we're looking for an experienced DVM ready to practice at the top of their license. This isn't an entry-level bench — you'll have first access to our most complex surgical and diagnostic cases, real autonomy in your caseload, and a full advanced toolkit most general practices can't offer. Founded in 2009 and AAHA-accredited, UVH has built a regional reputation for advanced, minimally invasive medicine.

• 5+ years of clinical experience required — this role is built for a doctor ready to work independently on advanced cases, not for someone still building fundamentals 
• Full use of our surgical toolkit: laparoscopic spay/neuter, gastropexy, and endoscopy (bronchoscopy, cystoscopy, rhinoscopy) — take on advanced cases without needing to refer out 
• Advanced orthopedics on-site — TTA, FHO, internal/external fixation, amputation — for doctors who want to keep complex surgery in-house 
• Advanced dentistry including root canals, jaw fracture repair, and oral tumor removal 
• Direct collaboration with our board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Michelle Woodward, and in-house referral access to oncology, orthopedics, and rehab — practice alongside specialists, not just refer to them 
• Room to shape your own caseload and schedule as a senior doctor on the team, with a potential path toward greater practice leadership 
• Fear Free Certified, Cat Friendly Practice, standard M–F hours (7am–6pm)
