As Finance Supply Chain Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in the Farmland Dairy team, partnering closely with the local site operations team and operations and finance teams in China. You’ll strengthen financial visibility, operational performance and informed decision-making across the site. Working with finance, supply chain, manufacturing and other cross-functional stakeholders, you’ll support accurate month-end close, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting. You’ll also identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and deliver commercially aligned outcomes for the business.

    Complete cost calculations and analysis to support sound business decisions.

    Prepare and analyse factory operational statistics.

    Monitor expenditure and prepare monthly expense analysis, identifying the root causes of variances and following through on resolutions.

    Partner with the Finance Shared Service Centre and finance systems team to clarify data requirements and improve related processes.

    Contribute to other priorities and tasks assigned by your manager.

 

Requirements

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: 

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Financial Management or a related field, together with a recognised accounting qualification. 

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, including strong written English communication skills. 

  • A strong financial accounting background, ideally gained in manufacturing or with a large or mid-tier accounting firm supporting clients in these industries. 

  • Hands-on experience with month-end close and financial services processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations. 

  • Strong experience in forecast planning and budget setting, with the flexibility to adapt as priorities and circumstances change. 

  • Working knowledge of relevant Australian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards. 

  • Confidence using Excel, Word and PowerPoint, including advanced Excel formulas, plus familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Oracle NetSuite, ERP implementation and reporting systems is desirable. 

  • Clear, logical and data-driven thinking, with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. 

  • Strong communication, multitasking and learning agility, with a proactive, responsible approach and the confidence to work independently. 

  • Strong team management and leadership skills.
