A Mortgage Production Coordinator should demonstrate commitment to delivering distinctive service. This position will be responsible for partnering with the Mortgage Advisor to ensure the mortgage application package is submitted to underwriting in a timely manner by collecting outstanding client loan documentation based on mortgage loan product guidelines.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects, in person and over the telephone. Respond to client inquiries and satisfactorily resolve client issues. Support firm-wide achievement of the three-ring standard (all phones answered by a live person within three rings).
- →Review the loan application package for accuracy and completion to ensure all required forms and/or documentation have been provided by the client and appropriate fees have been collected.
- →Communicate with Mortgage Advisor of any discrepancies, missing data, or outstanding documentation to ensure the efficient flow of the underwriting process.
- →Act as a client point of contact in the origination phase, supporting timeline expectations to efficiently expedite loans to underwriting.
- →Collect initial credit documentation from client based on Loan Product and/or AUS requirements, and upload to the Document Repository (DR).
- →Interact with third-party business partners to order related loan information (i.e., appraisals, title commitments, tax transcripts, credit updates, verifications, flood determination, USPS address verification, and fraud reports) & update available file contacts.
- →Obtain, provide, or review necessary documentation to process and complete mortgage application files (i.e., tax bill on property address, sales contract, condo questionnaire/approval, Builder Docs/Builder Approval, FHA/VA case numbers, and CAIVRS) as applicable and in accordance with stated regulatory and product guidelines and/or other underwriting guidelines.
- →Complete Quality review of file to ensure completeness and accuracy of application, AUS findings, and all required supporting documentation to submit to underwriting.
- →Monitor Regulation B timing of each mortgage application in the pipeline to ensure files are sent to Underwriting, (Notice of Incompleteness) NOIs are sent, and/or files are closed for incompleteness to ensure files are being decisioned within the Reg B requirement, within a timely manner, and in accordance with Reg B.
- →Meet all the client’s financial needs, both business and personal, and refer clients to other specialty areas such as Trust, Investments, Insurance, Treasury Management, etc. as appropriate.
- →Assist other team members as needed to ensure delivery of distinctive service.
- →Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
~1 min read- High School Diploma or Equivalent – College degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial services and/or mortgage lending.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or related software.
- Experience in loan documentation processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, USDA, VA, & Jumbo loan underwriting guidelines Knowledge of bank services and products; including State and Federal compliance regulations and requirements.
