Role:

The purpose of this job is to perform janitorial duties in the warehouse in order to provide a clean work environment and to comply with all customer, internal, and legislative audits.

Role Responsibilities:

✓To perform the necessary cleaning function in the warehouse.

✓To accurately record information on SYSCO and external documents.

✓To provide customer service both externally and internally.

✓Assist in inventory and purchases of janitorial supplies as requested.

✓Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

✓Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.

✓Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.

✓Perform other duties as assigned.

✓2 years general warehouse or related is an asset.

✓High school diploma preferred

✓Exposure to operation of material handling equipment is an asset

✓English language fluency is required.
