T5 Data Centers is searching for Finance Project Controls who will be responsible the financial and contractual authority on construction projects, responsible for ensuring alignment between budget, commitments, contract terms, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle. This role operates as a strategic partner to Operations, providing financial oversight, risk identification, and commercial guidance while maintaining strict adherence to contractual and audit requirements. They will work directly with the operations team, finance team, and assigned clients to provide financial analysis and reporting as required. The ideal candidate will have a have a proven track record as a financial business partner, financial modeling capabilities, and be proficient in the use of financial and project systems and tools to manage processes and data efficiently.

- Review of all project contracts with Project Management and Operations Leadership prior to execution
- Set up and structure of projects in Procore to include budgets and cost codes, Owner Schedule of Values (SOV), and project commitments
- Oversight of budget throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Maintaining the project budget, contract values, commitments, and change orders
- Identifying any gaps in the budget, misalignments of costs, and unsupported values
- Tracking actuals vs budget, commitment vs remaining, and forecast to completion while diligently reviewing to identify cost overruns and financial risks early
- Document and oversee financial policies and processes for specific customer deliverables
- Validate invoices are tied to approved commitments that align with contractual commitments
- Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate to include Pay applications and continuation sheets, lien waivers, documentation for stored materials, and owner-required backup
- Preparation and coordination of Owner Pay Applications ensuring alignment with Prime Contract SOV, costs, and all compliance documentation
- Prepare and review monthly execution reports with operational leadership
- Assist with process-improvement, automation, systems integration and enhancement projects as assigned
- Assist with other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or project management required
4‐8 years’ experience in a similar role, required
An MBA is a plus, or it can be applied towards the experience requirement
Previous business partnering, data center, or NetSuite experience is a plus

In‐depth knowledge of finance operations and job costing
Knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
Strong proficiency in the use of MS Excel, MS Office and financial management software
Proficiency in Procore or other relatable Project Management Software
Analytical thinker with the ability to strategize and solve problems
Superior attention to detail for accurate financial reporting and identification of discrepancies and risks
Proactive in building trusting relationships and following up on action items
Customer‐focused with a hospitality mindset
Ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines while working independently
