Responsibilities

→Bachelor degree in journalism or English
→5+ years of experience as a writer/editor
→Expert at writing, proofreading, and editing; great storyteller
→Demonstrated ability to conduct and analyze research and then tailor information for different audiences or grade levels
→ Conceptual creativity and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail; excellent organization skills
→Experience with content management systems
→Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
→Strong interpersonal and time management skills
→Familiarity with both the Chicago Manual of Style and AP Style
→Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: publishing, education, instructional design, K-12 curriculum resources, eLearning
