Lawyer, Associate

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Legal Counsel – Associate to provide legal support and advice across corporate, commercial, technical, banking, and finance-related matters. The successful candidate will assist in managing legal cases, transactions, contracts, and regulatory matters while working closely with senior legal counsel and business stakeholders.

• Bachelor of Laws, preferably from a reputable Philippine law school.
• Candidates from leading law schools such as Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, University of the Philippines College of Law, or San Beda University College of Law (Mendiola, Manila) are preferred.
• Must be a member of the Philippine Bar. 
• 1 to 2 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, financial institution, or similar environment.
• Experience with technical legal matters, complex contracts, or commercial projects is preferred.
• Good understanding of corporate, commercial, banking, finance, and applicable regulatory laws.
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to review and negotiate contracts and identify key legal and commercial risks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with senior counsel and cross-functional teams.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and sound legal judgment.

• Experience working with corporate clients, financial institutions, or regulated industries.
• Exposure to complex commercial transactions or banking and finance projects.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
• Willingness to take ownership of assigned matters and progressively assume greater responsibility.
