We are searching for an Electroneurodiagnostic Associate  -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will learn to perform high-quality electroencephalograms (EEGs), and long-term monitoring for epilepsy. Additionally, the Electro neurodiagnostic Associate will assist staff in starting, maintaining quality recording, and completing EEG studies in all Neurodiagnostic areas. The Electro neurodiagnostic program training is consistent with the American Society of Electro neurodiagnostic technologist (ASET) competencies, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACSN), and American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologists (ABRET) guidelines.

Job Duties & Responsibilities 
•    Classroom and Lab training 
•    Performs required course work as instructed 
•    Completes assignments in a timely manner 
•    Meets attendance requirements 
•    Maintains academic requirements 
•    Evaluates the patient in collaboration with END tech 
•    Determines the patient’s mental state and comprehension level 
•    Ascertains the patient’s capacity to cooperate throughout the procedure 
•    Observes and assists END tech with patient interactions during testing 
•    Accommodates disabilities and special needs of patients 
•    Develops skills in inpatient documentation in collaboration with END tech 
•    Patient information (name, DOB, MR number, referring physician) 
•    Pertinent patient history and familial medical history 
•    Current medications and time of the last dosage 
•    Specify the patient’s mental, behavioral, and conscious state 
•    Documents appropriately in the electronic medical record and recording systems 
•    Develops skills to perform a standard EEG and maintain recording excellence in collaboration with END tech 
•    Apply 10/20 head measurement and electrode application skills accurately. 
•    Perform routine EEG and recording maintenance in accordance with ACNS guidelines and ASET competencies. 
•    Proficient data entry into electronic medical records and EEG recordings

Skills & Requirements 
•    Required H.S. Diploma or GED with a preferred associate degree 
•    Preferred experience in healthcare or related setting and Pediatric experience
