We’re looking for a Nurse Manager II Urgent Care - West Campus someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position, you’ll direct, supervise, and coordinate the daily operations of the Urgent Care Centers and various projects assigned by the Assistant Director (or above) of the Urgent Care Centers.

Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Manages daily operations of the assigned Urgent Care, including but not limited to customizing site operations, communicating and collaborating with team members to ensure successful operation of Urgent Care, including addressing physician, parent, and patient complaints and suggestions
- →Manages human resources through hiring, developing, and coaching competent staff, investigating and resolving all employee, patient, and physician complaints and concerns, ensuring regulatory compliance of assigned Health Centers by all accrediting bodies including JCAHO, HCFA, CLIA, OSHA, ADA, and TDH, while conducting special projects as needed for Urgent Care
- →Coaches and develops team members using an interdisciplinary approach by providing structured feedback through yearly development plans and informal and formal follow-up, and assists in the development of nurses along the novice to expert continuum
- →Demonstrates effective communication skills with the healthcare team and works to eliminate communication barriers, serving as a liaison between physicians, families, nursing staff, and ancillary departments to promote high satisfaction among patients, physicians, and team members
- →Monitors current and projected workflow and clinical processes through data collection and observation, and effectively and succinctly compiles, analyzes, and presents data to identify process improvement opportunities and goals for the team and department
- →Demonstrates accountability for cost-effective management of equipment and supplies while ensuring the department achieves patient care goals
Demonstrates service philosophies to patients and families, identifies self, explains the visit process, and provides information regarding length of visit
Requirements
~1 min read- Associate's degree in nursing or an associate’s degree in a related field accepted by the Texas Board of Nursing for the purposes of obtaining and maintaining an RN license required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Licensure & Certifications
- RN - Lic-Registered Nurses by the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Licensure Compact required
BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association required
Experience
- This manager-level role is responsible for overseeing high-volume clinical operations across multiple practices, including managing 2,250+ office encounters per month and maintaining direct leadership of 12 or more full-time equivalent (FTE) staff.
- Minimum of 2 years of formal supervisory experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric emergency room or urgent care nursing experience
- A Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field may substitute for up to two (2) years of required supervisory experience
