Screening Associate

We are searching for a full time Screening Associate -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will ensure the proper screening of employees, patients, and visitors that desire entry into any Texas Children's facility.

• →Performs screening functions
• →Assists employees, contractors, and patient families with appropriate screening questions
• →Assist employees with utilizing the screening survey (QR Code) tool
• →Screen employees, contractors, and patient families for elevated temperature through the use of handheld thermal scanner computer thermography
• →Performs customer service support role
• →Responds to all customer requests in a courteous and professional manner
• →Provides wayfinding assistance to visitors and patient families when necessary
• →Monitors screening area to ensure proper social distancing measures are in place.
• →Completes duties and assignments as directed by leadership and as per policy and procedure
• →Assists other staff with duties if necessary
• →Assists with performing screening functions at both patient and employee stations or where needed
• →Finishes and meets standards for all required training
• →Secures work area as required. Follows all security policies and procedures
• →Completes any other tasks or special projects as assigned
• →As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Required H.S. Diploma or GED
