Senior Lead Principal Gifts Advisor

The Senior Lead Principal Gift Officer provides strategic leadership in managing a portfolio of highly qualified principal gift prospects and donors with the capacity to make gifts of $10 million or more. This role leads the development and execution of highly personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to secure transformational philanthropic support for Texas Children’s.

• →Manage and grow a portfolio of principal gift prospects and donors, building meaningful, long-term relationships.
• →Develop and execute strategies to secure principal gifts of $10 million or more.
• →Partner with senior clinical and administrative leaders to identify philanthropic priorities and align donor interests with organizational needs.
• →Collaborate with Major Gifts Officers, campaign volunteers, and philanthropy leadership to maximize fundraising opportunities.
• →Lead prospect strategy, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• →Develop strong engagement strategies for fundraising volunteers and organizational partners.
• →Maintain accurate donor and prospect information, activity, and moves management in fundraising systems.
• →Contribute to priority fundraising events, initiatives, communications, and other Office of Philanthropy activities.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of fundraising or sales experience required.
• 10+ years of direct individual fundraising experience preferred, with a demonstrated track record of securing principal or major gifts.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, organization, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively across a complex organization, and drive results.
