Position Description

The Marketing Manager is a management-level position responsible for leading the day-to-day marketing, communications, branding, digital marketing, public relations, and community awareness activities of Tri-County Human Services.

This position develops and executes marketing strategies that increase awareness of the agency, its programs, and services; strengthen Tri-County’s brand and digital presence; support referral and community engagement efforts; and ensure clear and consistent communication across agency locations and programs.

The Marketing Manager works collaboratively with agency leadership, program staff, community partners, vendors, and external fundraising partners to support organizational goals and maintain effective public-facing communications.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate agency-wide marketing strategies aligned with organizational priorities, programs, and community needs.
  • Manage the agency's social media platforms, including content planning, development, scheduling, engagement, and performance monitoring.
  • Manage and maintain the agency's website and digital presence, including content development, program updates, SEO, local search, and Google Business Profiles.
  • Plan and execute email marketing and digital communications, including content development, audience segmentation, scheduling, quality assurance, and performance evaluation.
  • Maintain and oversee the agency's brand standards and ensure consistency across locations, programs, employees, vendors, and external partners.
  • Create and coordinate marketing materials and promotional collateral, including brochures, flyers, advertisements, presentations, graphics, signage, and event materials.
  • Develop and coordinate external communications and public relations, including press releases, organizational announcements, media communications, and community messaging.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives that increase awareness of agency programs and services and support community engagement, referrals, and organizational growth.
  • Coordinate community outreach and event marketing, including promotional strategy, communications, materials, resource distribution, and organizational representation.
  • Analyze marketing performance, audience engagement, digital analytics, referral information, and other available data to evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Evaluate advertising, sponsorship, media, and promotional opportunities and make recommendations based on organizational priorities, audience reach, expected value, and available resources.
  • Manage relationships with marketing vendors, media partners, community organizations, and other external partners.
  • Collaborate with agency leadership and external fundraising partners to support fundraising initiatives and events through marketing, communications, promotional materials, sponsorship support, donor communications, and event execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Training and Experience

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.

At least three years of professional experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, public relations, or a related field.

Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Experience with social media management, website content management, email marketing, and digital marketing.

Working knowledge of SEO, digital analytics, audience segmentation, and marketing performance measurement.

Experience developing marketing materials and working with graphic design tools or creative vendors.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and time-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency and accuracy.

Ability to collaborate effectively with organizational leadership, program staff, community partners, vendors, and external organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or other mission-driven organizations.

Experience supporting fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, donor communications, or nonprofit events.

Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, email marketing platforms, website content management systems, and social media management tools.
