Position Overview
We are seeking a contract writer to develop and write a Christ-centered book designed for women navigating the profound physical and emotional transitions of perimenopause and menopause. This project will meet women with deep empathy, providing a biblical framework to navigate aging and physical changes with grace, hope, and biblical perspective.
We are open to different conceptual directions for this resource, including but not limited to:
- A vulnerable, personal narrative and reflection that uses story-driven writing, memoir-style reflection, and relatable lived experiences to expose the daily realities of perimenopause and menopause. The author will walk readers through her own journey with honesty and humor, grounding the physical and emotional rollercoasters of this transition in the unchanging faithfulness, comfort, and goodness of God.
- A science-backed, biblically integrated resource written by a medical professional (such as a doctor, nurse practitioner, or registered nurse). This project would bridge the gap between medical science and Scripture, explaining the physiological realities of midlife hormonal shifts while offering an evidence-based and biblically grounded roadmap for navigating this season of a woman's life.
The ideal project will treat this season of life not as something to be feared or hidden, but as a purposeful stage of growth where a woman can deeply experience the sustaining grace of Christ.
Scope of Work
- Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript (approximately 45,000–75,000 words)
- Collaborate closely with the editorial team through multiple rounds of revision
- Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitment
Commitment
Contract, per-project basis.
Compensation
Compensation is determined based on project scope and complexity.
Additional Information
Contractors are engaged based on the needs of specific projects and are not guaranteed ongoing or full-time work. Participation in meetings, workshops, or collaborative sessions may be requested depending on the project timeline.
