ProfitSolv is a SaaS business services provider for the legal and accounting industry. We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Commercial Finance to join our growing team!
The Senior Manager, GTM Financial Planning & Analysis is a high-visibility, high-impact role responsible for serving as the dedicated finance partner to the Go-To-Market organization. Reporting to the VP, Commercial Finance (FP&A) and partnering directly with the Chief Sales Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Customer Officer, this individual contributor will own the master top-line forecast model, drive resource investment decisions, and build the analytical infrastructure that connects GTM investments to revenue outcomes across the enterprise.
This role sits at the center of a private-equity-backed SaaS environment and is responsible for influencing how revenue is generated, not just measured. The successful candidate will combine deep SaaS GTM finance expertise — across the full lead-to-churn lifecycle — with an AI-first mindset, helping modernize how the company forecasts, analyzes, and communicates commercial performance to executive leadership and the PE sponsor.
What we provide:
- Opportunity to Invest in Your Future. We offer a 401K match.
- Paid Time Off. Enjoy paid time off and paid holidays.
- Great Coverage. Take advantage of health, dental, and vision HSA and FSA policies.
- A Great Team. Collaborate with smart, curious, hardworking individuals.
- Performance Compensation. Be rewarded for your hard work with performance-based merits.
- Remote Work. Want to work from home? No problem!
As a FP&A Manager, you will:
- Own the master top-line forecast model, including Funnel to Bookings, Billings, ARR, and Revenue across all the organization.
- Build and maintain driver-based models reflecting SaaS GTM mechanics — ARR, retention, expansion, churn, quota capacity, pipeline conversion, sales productivity, ramp, CAC, and LTV.
- Establish predictive modeling and early-warning indicators to identify growth levers and surface risks across key commercial metrics.
- Track and report on SaaS KPIs and unit economics including ARR, MRR, churn, GRR, NRR, CAC, LTV, capacity, ROI and related metrics.
- Support product line finance directors to ensure a unified approach to modeling, forecasting, and budget builds across the portfolio.
- Serve as the lead finance partner to the Chief Sales Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Customer Officer, providing data-driven recommendations on resource allocation, sales productivity, and investment ROI.
- Own business partnering support for Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support teams, serving as a trusted finance advisor to GTM functional leaders.
- Architect the lead-to-churn finance framework in close partnership with the RevOps team, ensuring data integrity, consistent definitions, and end-to-end visibility across the funnel.
- Influence how revenue is generated — not just measured — by surfacing insights, challenging assumptions, and informing strategic GTM decisions.
- Lead quarterly and annual GTM planning cycles, translating corporate growth targets into departmental financial impacts, headcount plans, quotas, and comp plans.
- Develop rolling monthly forecasts in conjunction with GTM leaders to maintain a live pulse on acquisition, retention, and expansion trends.
- Partner with senior leaders to surface insights, challenge assumptions, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop best-in-practice processes for GTM reporting and data cleansing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership, the executive team, and the PE sponsors.
- Lead ad hoc modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives, scenario planning, and investment decisions.
- Develop best-in-practice processes for GTM reporting and data cleansing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.
- Continuously improve financial reporting tools, forecasting methodologies, and dashboard capabilities to enhance accuracy, transparency, and usability; drive initiatives to advance process automation and financial systems integration.
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce manual effort across GTM FP&A through intelligent automation and modern tooling.
- Operationalize AI-native tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to increase analytical velocity, build scalable models, and enhance executive decision-making.
This position follows established policies and procedures to keep confidential information secure.
A great fit for this position has:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field required; MBA or CPA is advantageous.
- Minimum 5–8 years of progressive FP&A, Strategic Finance, or GTM Finance experience with hands-on modeling and reporting ownership.
- Deep understanding of SaaS ARR unit economics, with the ability to translate metrics into business insight.
- Proven track record directly supporting Go-To-Market organization leadership (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success).
- Deep understanding of sales and marketing metrics, ROI, and funnel analysis.
- Deep understanding of cohort analysis including churn and contraction factors.
- SaaS, software, or services industry background required.
- Advanced financial modeling skills with demonstrated ability to build complex, driver-based models from scratch in Excel and other cloud-native forecasting tools.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools.
- Experience with revenue billing systems and understanding of billing, backlog, and revenue.
- Adaptive Planning —hands-on user experience or similar tools such as Anaplan, Planful.
- Prior experience using Sage Intacct or NetSuite ERP.
- Proven experience owning or significantly contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Ability to synthesize large, complex datasets into clear executive-level narratives and recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence VP- and C-level stakeholders through clear recommendations and strong business judgment.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with high ownership and ambiguity.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
- Private-equity-backed experience.
- Prior experience supporting multi-segment or multi-business-unit reporting structures.
- Prior exposure to M&A diligence or integration work.
- Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and comfort querying data independently (SQL a plus).
- Naturally curious — pushes to understand root causes and business drivers rather than accepting numbers at face value.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong initiative and sound decision making ability.
- Ability to travel as needed.
