Position Title: Volunteer- Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Assistant

Organization: ChildFund Timor-Leste

Location: Dili, Timor-Leste

Report to:  MEL Coordinator

Duration: 3 months with minimum 3-5 days working days per week.

Other Information: Criminal History Checks are required to be undertaken for this position.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed volunteers to join our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team. This opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience in tracking the progress of our projects, collecting essential data, and assessing the effectiveness of our initiatives. The role is crucial to ensuring that we measure and achieve our desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting data for the project.
• Help organize and analyze data using Excel.
• Participate in field visits and report findings.
• Support the preparation of reports.
• Ensure data is accurate and well-organized.

 Essential experience and knowledge:

• Proficient in Excel (basic data entry and analysis skills).
• Fluency in spoken Tetum and Local language ability (Fataluku and Makalero, Makasae and Galolen)
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.
