These aren't independent consulting businesses — this roster is for actively employed full-time professionals who want strategic side projects (5–15 hours/week) to stay engaged with emerging technology and high-impact work beyond their regular roles.
Tech Partners handles client matching, contracts, invoicing, and relationship management. You focus on delivering expertise.
We're looking for senior technical professionals who:
- Have 8+ years of relevant experience in technical leadership, architecture, or specialized SME roles
- Are currently employed full-time (we verify no conflicts of interest with your primary employer)
- Are available for 5–15 hours per week on a project or retainer basis
- Are based in or familiar with the Tulsa/OKC tech ecosystem
- Want strategic project work that challenges them beyond their day job
- Vetted project opportunities matched to your expertise
- Client relationship management (scoping, contracts, invoicing, payment processing)
- Structured engagement models: Advisory Consults (hourly), Fractional Build Support (project-based), Embedded Fractional Lead (ongoing retainer)
- Flexibility to maintain your FTE role while building your advisory portfolio
- Potential pathways to full-time opportunities if desired (standard Tech Partners placement fees apply)
To join the roster, submit:
- Your current resume or CV
- Your target hourly compensation range ($75–$250/hour, typical for fractional work)
On your Cover Letter.
- Your primary specialty or expertise area (e.g., "Cloud Architecture - AWS/Azure migration and infrastructure design")
- Target project types you're interested in (e.g., "Technical due diligence for acquisitions, roadmap assessment, cloud migration planning")
- Your current availability (hours per week, preferred engagement length, remote/hybrid/onsite preference)
- Confirmation of current FTE employment status and employer name (for conflict-of-interest verification only)
- Respond promptly to project opportunities (within 48 hours)
- Maintain professional communication throughout engagements
- Deliver work that reflects senior-level expertise and accountability
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest before accepting projects
We support fractional professionals across:
- Advisory Consults: 2–5 hours, one-time or recurring. Technical assessments, architecture reviews, roadmap feedback, and vendor evaluation.
- Fractional Build Support: 10–40 hours over 2–8 weeks. MVP scoping, proof-of-concept development, technical documentation, and migration planning.
- Embedded Fractional Lead: Ongoing retainer, 5–15 hours/week. Interim CTO/VP Engineering, embedded architect, strategic advisor.
- You apply through this posting with your resume, hourly range, specialty, and target projects.
- We review your submission and add qualified candidates to the active roster.
- We match incoming client projects with roster members based on expertise and availability.
- We facilitate introductions via a discovery call to confirm fit and scope.
- Scope and terms are finalized (rate, deliverables, timeline, communication cadence).
- Engagement begins — you deliver, Tech Partners invoices clients and pays you on NET-15 terms.
- Extensions or conversions happen organically based on project success and client needs.
- Fractional professionals on this roster are independent contractors, not Tech Partners employees.
- All work must be performed outside your primary FTE employment with no conflicts of interest. We verify this before matching.
- Engagements are project-based or retainer-based — not permanent employment unless explicitly converted.
- Tech Partners facilitates client relationships but is not responsible for work quality or deliverables beyond standard professional service expectations.
- If a fractional engagement converts to a full-time hire, standard Tech Partners placement fees apply (20% of first-year base salary).
- This is a pilot program. Roster structure and terms may evolve based on early feedback.
