Location: Oklahoma City, OK (On-site)
Engagement: 90-Day Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $35–45/HR (W2, full-time)

We're partnering with a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) to add a Network Technician to their Oklahoma City team.

This role is ideal for someone with strong networking fundamentals who enjoys solving complex connectivity and infrastructure challenges across multiple client environments. You'll play a key role in maintaining and supporting client networks while gaining exposure to a wide range of technologies and architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain client network environments (remote and on-site as needed)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including:
    • Connectivity and performance problems
    • VPN access and remote connectivity
    • Firewall and routing issues
  • Configure and support:
    • Switches, routers, and firewalls
    • Wireless networks and access points
    • VLANs and network segmentation
  • Monitor network health and performance; respond to alerts and outages
  • Assist with network installations, upgrades, and migrations
  • Support basic server and infrastructure components as needed
  • Partner with helpdesk teams on escalated network-related tickets
  • Document configurations, changes, and resolutions in PSA/RMM tools
  • Participate in client onboarding, standardization, and project work
  • 4+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on networking
  • Experience supporting multiple environments, ideally in an MSP setting
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)
    • VPN technologies and remote access solutions
    • DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP fundamentals
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear communication skills with both technical teams and end users

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
  • Exposure to:
    • Firewall management (SonicWall, Fortinet, Meraki, etc.)
    • Network security best practices
    • RMM/PSA tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, etc.)
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar)
  • Higher-impact role focused on core infrastructure and networking
  • Exposure to diverse client environments and technologies
  • Collaborative, technically strong team
  • Clear path to full-time conversion after 90 days
  • Strong stepping stone toward network engineering or architecture roles
