Estimator- Expression of Interest

Technica Mining is seeking motivated Estimators to join our growing team. We welcome applicants at all experience levels, from junior to seasoned professionals. The Estimator will support operations across all activities related to the RFP/RFQ process, helping to deliver accurate and competitive submissions. Strong organizational and computer skills are considered assets for this role, and we encourage candidates who possess them to apply.

• →Degree or diploma in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is considered an asset.
• →Strong understanding of underground and surface mining methods, equipment, and project workflows.
• →Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• →Knowledge with estimating and scheduling software (e.g., MS Excel, MS Project, Hard Dollar, B2W Estimate, or similar).
• →Familiarity with AutoCAD, Deswik, or other CAD/design software is considered an asset.
• →Ability to perform detailed material take-offs and develop complete cost estimates.
• →Knowledge of construction and mining safety standards and regulations.
  
• →Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• →Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
  
• →Willing to work extended hours and able to travel to various mine sites for meetings and site visits as required
  
• →High Level knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Project and Adobe.
