Manual Bolter

Currently, Technica is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as an Manual Bolters to join our team in Timmins, ON reporting to the site superintendent.

• →Performing pre-operational inspections and ensuring safe operation of manual bolting equipment such as jacklegs/stoppers
• →Inspecting existing underground headings and scaling loose rocks while working according to work procedures and company policies within a safety conscious environment
• →Reporting any safety concerns or unsafe conditions
• →Assisting with other support duties such as mechanical installations; maintenance of air, water and ventilation; and ground support

• Must have Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (U0000 to U0012) or equivalent provincial designation
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a jackleg and stopper
• Ability to read mine plans and specifications for underground mining
• Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
• Willing and able to undergo pre-employment testing as a condition of employment
• Must be willing to work at any of the underground mine sites that Technica operates at
