Ink Technician (3rd Shift)

Ink Attendant is responsible for maintaining inks, adhesives, primers and lacquers for the press department.

Shift Hours: 3rd/10:45pm - 7:00am

• →Make needed inks; adhesives; primers and lacquers required to run machines.
• →Use PC to charge material to machines.
• →Return unneeded material to inventory.
• →Maintain daily housekeeping duties.
• →Identify hazardous waste and dispose in correct hazardous waste containers.
• →Manage waste or waste containers in satellite areas.
• →Label containers with an indication of the hazard(s) in the contents.
• →Inspect satellite areas to ensure good condition of waste containers.
• →Place hazardous waste in the correct storage location at the designated time according to RCRA regulations.
• →The Company maintains the right to revise and/or add duties in response to business requirements.
• →Perform related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

• Successful completion of TABE (Reading and Math) test.
• Successful Completion of IVO certification training. (Industrial Vehicle Operator )
• Successful Completion of JSA reading. (Job Safety and Health Analysis)
• Successful Completion of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Reading/comprehension
• Move 400 lb. drums using drum dolly
• Mathematical skills
• Computer skills
• Knowledge of MSDS and P.P.E.
• Knowledge of Ink Rooms at the Liberty Facility
