The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Contracts Manager - Department of Defense. The Contracts Manager serves as the company’s authorized representative for all contracting matters supporting a Department of Defense engineering mission. This role provides cradle to grave administration in a multiple award IDIQ environment with firm fixed price task orders, and may include cost reimbursement or over and above elements. Responsibilities include proposal strategy and compliance, terms and conditions review, negotiations, subcontract strategy and flowdowns, contract modifications, change management, risk and issue resolution, deliverable tracking, closeout, and stakeholder communication. The Contracts Manager partners with program and project leadership, pricing, finance, procurement, and legal to ensure compliant, timely, and profitable execution.
