Customs Declarant

• Prepare, review, and submit electronic import, export, and transit declarations to customs authorities
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable regulations and internal policies
• Maintain and update customs files, ensuring all required records are properly stored and accessible
• Monitor transit and export processes to confirm timely clearance and proof of goods leaving the EU
• Review and maintain product and shipment data in systems to support bonded warehouse operations
• Identify discrepancies in shipment or customs data and update records accordingly
• Support periodic declarations and follow up on outstanding or delayed clearances with relevant parties
• Contribute to internal audits and compliance checks, documenting findings clearly
• Collaborate with customs authorities, auditors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings or operational improvements

• →Diploma or degree in customs (Declarant) is strongly preferred, along with relevant, demonstrable experience in a customs-related role.
• →Solid knowledge of EU and national customs regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements
• →Experience preparing and processing customs declarations in a digital environment
• →Familiarity with customs systems and standard office tools for documentation and reporting
• →Clear communication skills for working with internal teams, authorities, and external partners
• →Ability to solve problems in a practical and timely way while maintaining compliance
• →Good command of English (written and spoken)
