Finance Intern

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our FP&R team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting financial planning, reporting, and AI-driven financial modeling and analysis. You will assist with financial tasks, data analysis, management reporting, and budgeting and forecasting processes. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Finance or a related field to apply their knowledge in a real-world, technology-enabled environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• FP&R Support: Assist the Financial Planning & Reporting team in delivering accurate and timely financial insights, including management reporting and performance analysis
• AI-Driven Financial Modeling: Support the development and enhancement of financial models using AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to support business decision-making
• Management Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and ad hoc management reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including data collection, model updates, and variance analysis
• Spreadsheet & Tool Management: Maintain and enhance spreadsheets and reporting tools used for financial analysis and reporting
• Accounting Tasks: Assist with accounting-related activities such as account reconciliations and transaction processing where required
• Market & Business Research: Conduct research on financial trends, industry benchmarks, and AI applications in finance
• Clerical Tasks: Perform basic administrative duties such as filing and organizing financial documentation
• Project Support: Provide support to FP&R team members on ongoing financial and transformation projects, including automation initiatives
• Learning and Development: Build practical knowledge in FP&R, financial analytics, and the use of AI in finance functions

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends
• Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to present insights clearly
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and familiarity with financial systems; exposure to data analytics or AI tools is a plus
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data and reporting
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and recommend solutions related to financial data and processes
