Job Purpose
A global commercial reporting and analytics role responsible for delivering dashboards, KPI reporting, performance analysis, and business insights using existing CRM and operational data sources, with no ownership of source-system data, commercial decisions, or data governance processes.
Key Accountabilities
Commercial Performance Reporting & Analytics
Support forecasting activities through analysis of historical performance, pipeline trends, and commercial data.
Analyse sales and commercial performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor commercial performance across verticals, regions, capabilities, and accounts.
Monitor and report on key KPIs, including:
Lead conversion rates
Pipeline performance
Revenue development
Win/loss ratios
Forecast accuracy
Account growth performance
Develop regular commercial analytics reports and executive summaries for leadership teams.
Support the preparation of commercial performance reports and presentations for leadership reviews, business updates, and commercial performance discussions
Translate complex data into clear and actionable business insights and visual storytelling.
Present findings in a structured and engaging way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Reports designs should provide guidance to monitor marketing performance metrics across campaigns, channels, customer segments, and digital engagement activities.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports tracking marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, lead generation, lead conversion, and customer engagement metrics.
Provide analysis and insights on marketing activities and their contribution to pipeline development and commercial outcomes.
Provide insights into customer journeys and conversion paths across CRM and digital marketing platforms.
Support attribution analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities on pipeline creation and revenue generation.
Provide performance data and analyses of marketing campaign effectiveness.
Support alignment between sales and marketing reporting to ensure end-to-end visibility from lead generation to revenue conversion.
Sales & Account Performance Support
Support performance monitoring for global accounts against their commercial targets and commercial objectives.
Assess performance metrics related to customer engagements, tenders, and account development activities.
Create visibility on contract renewal pipelines and strategic account opportunities.
Provide analytical insights and observations to support commercial decision-making and performance improvement initiatives.
Reporting Automation & Systems Enhancement
Develop and improve automated reporting capabilities using Power BI, Excel, and related analytical tools.
Utilise the data lake for reports & dashboards and cooperate with IT/Infra to understand data structure and data source systems such as Dynamics CRM, Excel, ERP/TMS/WMS systems, and other business platforms.
Perform regular validation checks on reports and dashboards and highlight issues requiring correction by relevant system or data owners.
Monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and stakeholder adoption.
Support onboarding and training of stakeholders on reporting tools, dashboards.
Leverage available Power BI, automation, and AI-enabled reporting features to improve reporting efficiency and insight generation.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Working closely with commercial, marketing, finance, operations, and product stakeholders globally.
Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment on reporting, KPIs, forecasting, and performance visibility.
Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into meaningful analytical outputs.
Support commercial leadership with timely and accurate business intelligence.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Support preparation of annual budgets and forecasts across verticals, accounts, capabilities, and regions based on historical performance and pipeline trends.
Monitor monthly forecast performance against budget and provide insights on variances and risks, both for Marketing and Vertical Markets/Global Accounts
Contribute to the continuous improvement of forecasting reports and analytical approaches.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, commercial reporting, sales operations, or business performance analysis.
- Experience with marketing performance reporting, digital analytics, or marketing automation platforms is advantageous.
- Exposure to website analytics and customer engagement reporting is preferred.
- Experience within logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or commercial environments is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Experience in Power BI dashboard development and commercial reporting.
- Exposure to sales pipelines, vertical organizations, and key account management environments.
- Experience working with cross-functional and matrix organisations.
