HSE Specialist

We are looking for an experienced HSE Specialist to join our HSSE team and play a key role in strengthening our safety culture while ensuring compliance with legal requirements, international standards, and DP World's global HSE framework..

• →Managing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment, including inventory control, inspections, availability and compliance.
• →Coordinating emergency preparedness activities such as emergency response plans, drills and improvement actions.
• →Monitoring compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, company standards and internal procedures.
• →Conducting site inspections, identifying unsafe conditions and following up corrective and preventive actions.
• →Supporting risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analyses and HSE improvement initiatives.
• →Coordinating contractor HSE compliance, documentation, committee meetings and performance monitoring.
• →Preparing HSE reports, monitoring KPIs and supporting continuous improvement across the business.
• →Working closely with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders to promote a proactive safety culture.
   

• Minimum B-Class Occupational Safety Specialist Certificate.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience, preferably within port & terminal operations, logistics, industrial facilities or similar high-risk environments.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish Occupational Health & Safety legislation (Law No. 6331).
• Experience in risk assessments, incident investigations, emergency preparedness and contractor safety management.
• Experience with PPE management, safety equipment, emergency response equipment and HSE reporting.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across different departments while independently managing priorities.
