Act as the country contact for daily ocean freight pricing and procurement activities
Manage relationships with local carriers, suppliers, and logistics partners to secure competitive end-to-end solutions
Maintain and provide transparency on buying conditions for internal stakeholders
Collaborate closely with operations and sales teams to support business needs
Advise on rate structures, carrier selection, and capacity challenges
Monitor local market trends, regulations, and conditions to support informed procurement decisions

Support local, regional, and global tendering processes

Provide sales teams with competitive buying rates and selling recommendations, including mainfreight and pre-/on-carriage options

Manage rate requests from the DP World overseas and agent networks to grow non-controlled business

Implement follow-up processes and KPIs to measure pricing success rates

Support monthly and quarterly customer rate updates for the sales organization

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, with a strong focus on pricing and procurement
Proven experience in procurement and carrier management within the local ocean freight and logistics market
Demonstrated success in negotiating competitive agreements and managing country-level tenders
Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments, including close collaboration with procurement teams
Strong understanding of local market conditions, regulations, and logistics infrastructure
