SAFETY COORDINATOR

Implement, follow, update and maintain all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities such as Dubai Ports Authority, Trakhees Environment Health and Safety Department, and internal DP World standards.

Ensure that all files are readily available for auditing purposes.

Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Responsible for schedule & record of department overall meetings.

Circulating the department & organization related memos and circulars to all department supervisory staff and place on notice board as well.

Support DP World HSE team in ensuring compliance and governance in HSE Related maters

Provide assistance to Management for various secretarial / administrative requirements.

Track closure of HSE actions and ensure effectiveness of corrective measures in addition to gathering of all section work report and submit to management after review. 

Create and maintain various documents and records as required, maintain an updated manual and electronic filing system.

Provide daily HSE support to operations teams, contractors, and business partners within DMC including facilitation of work permits and renewal, tracking of KPIs and issuing penalties as per the Tariff document

Assist the HSE Officers and Inspectors in performing their duties and act as their relievers during their absence.
