Senior Director - Container Freight Station - Nhava Sheva

Role & Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the overall operations and commercial performance of the Unit, ensuring sustainable profitability, business growth, and operational excellence. Accountable for P&L and EBITDA performance, business development, customer acquisition, service delivery, infrastructure readiness, compliance, safety, and stakeholder management. Drive continuous improvement through effective leadership, performance management, KPI governance, and strong relationships with customers, government agencies, and regulatory authorities.

• Effectively manage all aspects of the Business to ensure Profitability & Growth of the Unit,
• Fully responsible and accountable for the P&L and EBITDA of the unit.
• Develop and aggressively grow the business through identification of trends and opportunities and then implement strategies to succeed along with new service offerings
• Identify and convert high revenue potential customers for optimum use of the CFS facilities and ensure continuous client support through creative means
• Ensure that the physical infrastructure of the Unit meets the demands of the business and supports growth.
• To improve service delivery and expand coverage.
• Challenge operational and commercial performance to improve at every level, implement KPI’s to support the same.
• Lead and motivate all personnel, monitor and manage performance.
• Hold Business review of the unit on a monthly basis and conduct staff performance review
• Responsible for all Statutory, Legal, Certifications and all other Compliances of the Unit.
• Holds accountability of the Unit Safety Operations
• Maintain healthy relationship with all Government agencies.

Skills & Competencies:

• Graduation with First Class (60% and above) pass out

• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience

• Minimum of 10 years working experience in CFS

• Good Communication skills in English & Hindi language, both oral and written.

• Experience in Marketing, Business Development’ Finance and Operations of CFS.

• Should have Computer skills.

• Confident, self-driven and a team player
