VP (m/f/d) Operational Excellence - Contract Logistics Europe

How you will contribute

• Lead the Operational Excellence strategy across our European Contract Logistics network, driving continuous improvement, operational performance, and sustainable business growth.
• Create alignment across countries by developing and implementing common processes, tools, systems, and ways of working.
• Partner with leaders across Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, HR, HSEQ, Security, and Key Account Management to deliver strategic priorities and transformation initiatives.
• Guide and develop capabilities across Continuous Improvement, Business Process Improvement, Business Intelligence, Solution Design, Project Management, Warehouse Management Systems, Health & Safety, and Security.
• Lead the development of customer-focused, commercially viable logistics solutions for new business opportunities, contract renewals, and operational transformations.
• Support strategic bids, customer proposals, and business growth initiatives through strong operational and commercial expertise.
• Oversee major implementation, transformation, and integration programs, ensuring consistent execution, effective risk management, and delivery of expected outcomes.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and profitability improvements through data-driven decision-making and operational best practices.
• Build a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing across the European network.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on operational performance, future capabilities, and transformation opportunities.

What you will bring

• Significant leadership experience in Operational Excellence, Transformation, Continuous Improvement, or a related field within a complex, multi-site environment - ideally within contract logistics
• Experience leading large-scale operational improvement programs and working effectively across multiple countries, functions, or business units.
• Strong understanding of solution design, process optimization, commercial decision-making, and delivering measurable business results.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, build strong partnerships, and translate strategy into execution.
• Fluency in English and willingness to significantly travel across Europe as required.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Business Intelligence, Warehouse Management Systems, or other operational excellence methodologies and tools.
• Experience supporting customer acquisition, solution design, strategic bids, mergers and acquisitions, or business integration activities.
• Experience leading international teams through periods of growth, transformation, or organizational change.

This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making and build capabilities that support our long-term success. Working across operations, commercial teams, and support functions, you will play a key role in ensuring we deliver consistent, efficient, and customer-focused solutions throughout our European network.
