Workforce Planning Coordinator

DP World is currently seeking a Workforce Coordinator to join our supportive and talented team in Fremantle. In this role you will play a key role in collating, evaluating, and delivering efficient workforce planning solutions by managing daily rostering and leave planning, while working closely with the national planning team and operational management to forecast requirements and identify opportunities for improvement. 

The role also supports the management of the vehicle booking system and facilitation of cargo transport arrangements. The successful candidate is confident learning new systems and has strong organisational skills, a clear communication style and excellent attention to detail.  This is a fulltime position, with 38 working hours per week on a job share basis between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate, compliant rosters aligned with operational needs and enterprise agreements undertakings

• Escalate rostering issues and recommend process improvements for efficiency

• Maintain workforce data bases 

• Manage annual leave planning, ensuring deadlines are met and impacts are forecast

• Highlight workforce gaps early and release plans on schedule

• Liaise with transport partners and facilitate vehicle bookings and traffic flow.

• Work with internal teams and external partners to support effective workforce planning and efficient, timely receival and dispatch of cargo.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Experience in workforce planning/rostering in accordance with industrial agreements and awards

• Skilled in data analysis, process improvement, and actionable recommendations

• Proficient in Excel with strong attention to detail and process focus

• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills across all levels

• Able to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and handle urgent requests

• Customer-focused, proactive, and results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
