CNC Machinist - Alpena Area

• →Read blueprints and work from drawings and specifications.
• →Load parts and fixtures and verify alignment.
• →Monitor machining and adjust offsets to hold tolerances.

• →Record production counts and inspection results.

• Basic math skills for speeds, feeds, and tolerances.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift moderate weight.
• Attention to detail and consistent quality control.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience setting up and running CNC mills or lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

• Trade school certificate in machining.
• Experience with multi-axis or Swiss machines.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
• Experience with G code programming or editing.
• Familiarity with CAD or CAM software.
