CNC Mill Programmer - Sault Ste. Marie Area

• →Read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• →Inspect first articles and in-process parts.
• →Troubleshoot program and machine issues on the floor.
• →Maintain program files and setup documentation.
• →Work with machinists and engineers on process improvements.
• →Write and edit CNC programs for milling machines.
• →Set up tooling and fixtures for new jobs.
• →Prove out programs and adjust feeds and speeds.

• Familiarity with G-code and CAM software.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.
• Experience with setup and first article inspection.
• Experience programming CNC mills in a shop setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
• Experience machining tight tolerance parts.
• Formal machining or manufacturing training.
• Experience with multi-axis or 5-axis machining.
• Familiarity with Mastercam or similar CAM software.
